Measures reported by RADLBGroupStatTest

Real servers are dedicated physical servers that you typically configure in groups called real server groups. The Radware Alteon Load Balancer distributes incoming network traffic and session load across a real server group. Multiple real server groups can be created, depending upon the nature of traffic/sessions the servers in the group handle. To know which server group is handling the maximum session and data load, use the Group Statistics test. For each real server group that is configured, this test tracks the session load and data traffic on that group.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for each real server group configured on the Radware Alteon load balancer being monitored.

Descriptor of the test : Real Server Group

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
curSession Indicates the number of sessions currently handled by this real server group. Number Compare the value of this measure across real server groups to know which group is handling the maximum number of sessions.
totalSession Indicates the total number of sessions handled by this real server group from the time this group was created. Number
transmitRate Indicates the rate at which data is transmitted to and received from this real server group. MB/Sec Compare the value of this measure across real server groups to identify the group that is the busiest.
