eG Monitoring

Measures reported by SolFireCWLTest

This test reports the processing ability of each of the target SolidFire cluster and the active iSCSI sessions and peak iSCSI sessions since midnight. This enables administrators to proactively detect a potential slowdown in processing or a probable slowdown of the cluster, identify whiy the cluster is behaving abnormally, and intervene to ensure that the problem is resolved before it spirals out of control.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for the target SolidFire storage system being monitored

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
activeSessions Indicates the total number of iSCSI sessions that were actively communicating with the cluster. Number
peakActiveSessions Indicates the peak number of iSCSI sessions since midnight Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Number
peakActiveSessions Indicates the average I/O operations per second in this node since midnight Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Number
averageIOPS Indicates the average I/O operations per second in this node since midnight Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). IOPS
peakIOPS Indicates the highest value of I/O Operations per second since midnight Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). IOPS
