The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Power_state Indicates the power state of the virtual desktop. Number This measure reports the following states while monitoring the power state of the virtual desktops.
  • On
  • TurningOn
  • Resuming
  • Suspending
  • Suspended
  • Off
  • TurningOff
  • Unmanaged
  • Unavailable

    Turning Off 7
    Unmanaged 8
    Unavailable 9
    Unknown 10

    Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating the power state of the virtual desktop. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
Registration_state Indicates whether this virtual desktop is currently registered or not. Number This measure reports the following states while indicating the registration state of the virtual desktops.
  • Registered
  • Unregistered
  • AgentError
  • The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

    State Numeric Value
    Registered 1
    Unregistered 2
    AgentError 3

    Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating the registration state of the virtual desktop. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
Desktop_state Indicates the current state of this virtual desktop. Number This measure indicates the following states while indicating the current state of the virtual desktop.
  • Available
  • InUse
  • Disconnected

  • Off
  • Unknown
  • The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

    State Numeric Value
    Available 0
    InUse 1
    Disconnected 2
    Unregistered 3
    Off 4
    Unknown 5

    Note:

By default, this measure reports the values like for e.g., Available while indicating the current state of the virtual desktop. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
Is_user_connected Indicates whether the user is connected to this virtual desktop or not. Number This measure reports a value Yes, when the user is connected to the virtual desktop and reports a value No when the user is not connected.

The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned values are as follows:

    State Numeric Value
    No 0
    Yes 1

    Note:

By default, this measure reports the values Yes or No while indicating the connection state of the user to the virtual desktop. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
Desktop_kind Indicates the type of this virtual desktop. Number This measure indicates the following states while indicating the type of this virtual desktop.
  • Unknown
  • Private
  • Shared
  • PrivateApp
  • SharedApp
  • The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

    State Numeric Value
    Unknown 0
    Private 1
    Shared 2
    PrivateApp 3
    SharedApp 4

    Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating the type of this virtual desktop. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
Is_maintenance_mode Indicates whether this virtual desktop is currently under maintenance.   If you want to temporarily stop connections to a desktop so that maintenance tasks can be carried out, you can put the desktop into maintenance mode. If this is the case, then the value of this measure will be Yes. If the desktop is not on maintenance, then the value will be No.

The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

    State Numeric Value
    No 0
    Yes 1

    Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating the maintenance mode of this virtual desktop. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
Poweroff_maintenance Indicates whether the virtual desktop is powered off and in maintenance mode.   The value of this measure will be Yes if the virtual desktop is in powered off state and under the maintenance mode. If the desktop is not on maintenance and powered off, then the value will be No.

The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

    State Numeric Value
    No 0
    Yes 1

    Note:

By default, this measure reports Yes/No to indicate the maintenance mode and the powered off state of the virtual desktop. However, the graph of this measure will represent the maintenance mode and powered off state using the corresponding numeric equivalents - i.e., 0 and 1.
