Measures reported by HPEvaDGTest

This test monitors the level of I/O activity on each physical disk group on an EVA storage array, and helps isolate irregularities in load balancing across the disk groups. Alongside, the test also helps identify which disk group is experiencing I/O bottlenecks (if any).

 The measures made by this test are as follows:

Avg_read_requests Indicates the rate at which read requests were made to this physical disk group. Reqs/Sec  
Avg_write_requests Indicates the rate at which write requests were received. Reqs/Sec  
Avg_data_reads Indicates the rate at which data is read from disk. MB/Sec  
Avg_data_writes Indicates rate at which data is written to this disk group. MB/Sec  
Avg_read_latency Indicates the time taken for reading from this disk group. Ms Ideally, this value should be low. A high value could indicate an I/O bottleneck on the disk group.
Avg_write_latency Indicates the time taken for writing to this disk group. Ms
Avg_queue_size Indicates the number of requests to this disk group that are in queue. Number A high value of this measure or a consistent increase in measure value could indicate the existence of an I/O bottleneck on the disk group.
Disk_count Indicates number of disks in this disk group. Number
