Default Parameters for HrznAppLaunchTest The virtual desktops/applications are launched by clients on the VMware Horizon View Connection server. To know the exact number of applications that were launched and the average time taken to launch an application, use the HrznAppLaunchTest test. Using this test, you can also figure out the number of applications that failed to launch and the maximum time taken to launch an application. This way, administrators can identify those applications that took too long to launch and the users who attempted to launch the applications. This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the HrznAppLaunchTest.
When changing default configurations of tests, the values with “$” indicate variables that will be replaced by the eG system according to the specific server being managed - for instance, $hostName is the host/nickname of the target host, $port is the port number of the server being monitored. E.g., for a server xyz:80, $hostName will be changed automatically by the eG manager to “xyz” and $port will be changed to “80” when configuring a test.
