Associating the Hosts with the RUM Data Collector

The Assign - RUM Data Collectors page appears when you click the Assoicate Hosts button in the RUM Data Collector Configuration page.

To associate the hosts to the RUM Data Collector, do the following:

• By default, all the RUM Data Collectors that are configured will be listed in the RUM Data Collector list box.

• By default, when a Real User Monitor component is added using the eG administrative interface, you will be associating a RUM data Collector, by default. Therefore when you choose such a default RUM Data Collector, the hosts asssoicated with that particular RUM Data Collector will be listed in the Hosts managed by this RUM Data Collector.

• If you wish to change the default RUM Data Collector, then you can choose the RUM Data Collector of your choice from the RUM Data Collector list. The Hosts managed by other RUM Data Collector list will then be populated with all the components in your environment. Select the hosts that you wish to associate with the chosen RUM Data Collector and click the < button.

• Clicking the Update button will register the necessary changes.
