RUM Data Collector Configuration

If you have enabled Real User Monitoring of one/more web sites/applications in your environment, then you will need a RUM Data Collector for collecting and analyzing the beacons of data that browsers send. Once you installed the RUM Data Collector, you need to register the collector with the eG manager. You can register the collectors using the RUM Data Collector Configuration page. To access this page, select the RUM Data Collectors option under the Miscellaneous tile of the Admin menu.

By default, this page will list the default RUM Data Collector which is bundled with the eG manager and the RUM Data Collectors that you configured. To modify an existing RUM Data Collector that you configured, click the icon available against each collector. Note that, you can neither modify the details of the default collector, nor delete it.

To delete a RUM Data Collector, click the icon. If you wish to delete multiple RUM Data Collectors, select the ones of your choice by checking the check box and click the icon.

To add a new RUM Data Collector, click the Add New Collector button.

To associate hosts with a RUM Data Collector, click the Associate Hosts button.

To delete RUM Data Collectors that are not associated with any hosts i.e., independent RUM Data Collectors, click the Delete Collectors button.
