Default Parameters for CtxNsGslbVsTest In order to promptly detect irregularities in load-balancing and accurately point to the bottleneck points, you need to track requests to the sites, services, and virtual servers (that are bound to the services) and observe how every entity handles these requests. Using this test you can figure out how the virtual servers load-balance the requests, responses, and data they receive. In the process, you can quickly identify overloaded virtual servers, and thus detect load-balancing irregularities.
This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the CtxNsGslbVsTest.
When changing default configurations of tests, the values with "$" indicate variables that will be replaced by the eG system according to the specific server being managed - for instance, $hostName is the host/nickname of the target host, $port is the port number of the server being monitored. E.g., for a server xyz:80, $hostName will be changed automatically by the eG manager to "xyz" and $port will be changed to "80" when configuring a test.
