Include/Exclude descriptors for an Aggregate Test

This page appears when you click on the Click here link at the top of the test configuration parameters of an aggregate component in the AGENTS - TESTS - SPECIFIC CONFIGURATION page. This page can be used as an alternative to exclude the descriptors instead of manually specifying the descriptors in the EXCLUDEDESCRIPTOR text box while configuring an aggregate test.

When this Click here link is clicked, the DESCRIPTORS page will appear. By default, all the descriptors of an aggregate test will be candidates for metric aggregation. Accordingly, all the descriptors of the test will be displayed in the INCLUDED DESCRIPTORS list. To ensure that the metrics related to one/more descriptors are excluded from the aggregated results, select the descriptors from the INCLUDED DESCRIPTORS list and click the Exclude >> button.

This will transfer the selection to the EXCLUDED DESCRIPTORS list.

To include one/more excluded descriptors, select them from the EXCLUDED DESCRIPTORS list and click the << Include button. Finally, click the Update button.
