Changing the password of the administrator

The eG Enterprise system is predefined with a default administrator account with a login of admin and password admin. This password can be changed. The CHANGE PASSWORD page depicts how the password for an admin user can be modified. This page can be accessed by clicking on the Change Password option in the Users menu that appears on the menu bar. It is mandatory to fill all the fields in this page.

• The new password for the administrator has to be specified in the New password text box.

• This new password has to be reentered in the Retype new password text box for confirmation purposes.

Clicking on the Change button will incorporate this change and the Clear button will enable the user to clear the entries. The Back button enables the user to go back to the previous screen.

Note:

This page cannot be used to change the password of a Domain user with Admin privileges.
