Default Parameters for NetworkErrorTest

The NetworkErrorTest reports the network errors and collisions that occur during data transmission and reception by a host via each of its network interfaces. The test works only on Solaris platforms. This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the NetworkErrorTest.

• The TEST PERIOD list box helps the user to decide how often this test needs to be executed. 

• Once the necessary values have been provided, clicking on the UPDATE button will register the changes made.

When changing default configurations of tests, the values with "$" indicate variables that will be replaced by the eG system according to the specific server being managed (e.g., if the URL is "http://$hostName:$port", for a specific web server running on the host www.abc.com on port 80, the URL parameter will be set to "http://www.abc.com:80").
