Viewing the Upgrade Status
To access this page, click on the icon available in the Admin tab. Then, select the Status option from the Upgrade sub-menu in the Agents tile. This page, by default, reveals the following information being displayed indicating the upgrade status of every agent reporting to the manager in question:
- AGENT ID - The IP/hostname of the agent
- LAST UPGRADED PACKAGE ID - The unique package id of the last upgraded package of the agent
- LAST UPGRADED TIME - The time of upgrade
- STATUS - Whether upgrade is currently disabled or enabled for the agent
- OS - The operating system on which the agent executes
- VERSION - The current version of the agent
- JRE VERSION - If available, the version of JRE used by the eG agent will also be displayed
To view the upgrade status selectively, choose a Filter By option. This list box offers the following filtering options:
- To view the upgrade information pertaining to agents of a particular version, select the Version option from the Filter By list box. From the Filter Criteria list box that appears next, select a particular version number, and finally, click the Submit button.
- To view the upgrade information of agents executing on a specific operating system, select the Operating system option from the Filter By list box. From the Filter Criteria list box that appears next, select a particular operating system, and finally, click the Submit button.
- To view the agent upgrade status based on the upgrade setting (i.e. whether enabled/disabled), select the Upgrade setting option from the Filter By list box. From the Filter Criteria list box that appears next, select either Enabled or Disabled, and finally, click the Submit button.
- To view the agent upgrade status based on the JRE version, select the JRE version option from the Filter By list box. From the Filter Criteria list box that appears next, select the JRE version to search for, and finally, click the Submit button.
- To view the agent upgrade status based on the Last Upgraded Package ID, select the Last Upgraded Package ID option from the Filter By list box. From the Filter Criteria list box that appears next, select the Last Upgraded Package ID to search for, and finally, click the Submit button.
- To view the agent upgrade status based on the Component Type, select the Component Type option from the Filter By list box. From the Filter Criteria list box that appears next, select the Component Type to search for, and finally, click the Submit button.
- This page can be exported into CSV file using the
icon and can also be exported into PDF file using the icon that exists in the right top corner of this page.
