List of Tests

If there are tests that require manual configuration, then follow the Agents -> Tests -> Configure menu sequence. This will first open the LIST OF UNCONFIGURED TESTS. Minimizing/closing the unconfigured tests list, reveals this page, which displays the list of tests that are associated with a particular component type. For this, the administrator has to select the type of component from the Select a component type list box, which lists only the managed component-types in the target environment.

By default, only the Enabled tests pertaining to the chosen component-type will be displayed. To view the disabled tests associated with the chosen type, click on the Disabled link at the top of the enabled tests list in this page. This will lead you straight to the list of disabled tests. To enable a test, select the check box available beside the test, and then click the Update.

The Configure Default button beside each test enables the user to configure the default parameters pertaining to the test. The parameter values for the tests can be modified for specific components using the Configure / Component button.

Use the Search text box in this page to search for a specific test. Specify the whole/part of the test name to search for in the Search text box , and then click the right-arrow button next to it. This will list the tests with names that embed the specified search string.
