Default Parameters for IBMDb2ActivityTest

The IBMDb2ActivityTest reveals the level of SQL activity on the DB2 database server, by reporting the number and type of SQL statements that were executed on it. This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the IBMDb2ActivityTest.

  • The TEST PERIOD list box helps the user to decide how often this test needs to be executed. 

  • In the USER text box, specify the name of the user who has any of the following privileges to the specified DATABASE: SYSADM or SYSCTRL or SYSMAINT or SYSMON.

  • Enter the password of the specified USER in the PASSWORD text box.

  • Retype the password in the CONFIRM PASSWORD text box.

  • In the DATABASE text box, specify the name of the database on the monitored DB2 server to be used by this test.

  • Once the above value is provided, click on the Update button to register the changes made.
