Default Parameters for IBMDb2PoolTest

The IBMDb2PoolTest monitors the usage of the database buffer pools on the DB2 database server. This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the IBMDb2PoolTest.

  • The TEST PERIOD list box helps the user to decide how often this test needs to be executed. 

  • In the USER text box, specify the name of the user who has any of the following privileges to the specified DATABASE: SYSADM or SYSCTRL or SYSMAINT or SYSMON.

  • Enter the password of the specified USER in the PASSWORD text box.

  • Retype the password in the CONFIRM PASSWORD text box.

  • In the DATABASE text box, specify the name of the database on the monitored DB2 server to be used by this test.

  • Once the above value is provided, click on the Update button to register the changes made.
