Default Parameters for MySQLCltOperTest The MySQL Cluster distributed database helps in providing high availability and throughput for the MySQL database management system. If a user complains that his/her transactions with My SQL Cluster database are failing, administrators may first want to know which steps of the user interactions are failing often. The MySQLCltOperTest provides administrators with this useful information. This test periodically monitors the status of the MySQL Cluster database server. Using the test, administrators an proactively be alerted when the cluster is non operational/stopped. In addition, this test throws light on the operations that were completed successfully and the operations that failed. This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the MySQLCltOperTest.
When changing default configurations of tests, the values with “$” indicate variables that will be replaced by the eG system according to the specific server being managed - for instance, $hostName is the host/nickname of the target host, $port is the port number of the server being monitored. E.g., for a server xyz:80, $hostName will be changed automatically by the eG manager to “xyz*” and $port will be changed to “80” when configuring a test. |
