Configuration of ProLongRunQryTest For each user auto-discovered on the target database server, this test tracks the currently executing queries and determines the number of queries that have been running for a long time. This test also tracks the maximum time taken to execute the queries. You can also use the detailed diagnosis of this test to drill down to the exact queries that have been running for an unreasonably long time, and thus isolate the user executing the resource-intensive queries to the database. The default parameters associated with this test are as follows:
When changing the configuration for specific servers, a “*” beside the text box corresponding to the parameter signifies that these values have to be manually configured by the user. The parameter values that require to be configured will typically be prefixed with a “$” or contain a series of “*”. A value of “none” in the parameter value indicates that the corresponding parameter value can be changed if required.
