License Limit

This page appears when you follow the menu sequence: Admin -> User Management -> Licensing.

If the License Usage tab page or the Usage by Org/OU tab page in the LICENSE INFORMATION page reveals that the tenant is running out of a specific type of license, then the tenant should request for additional licenses, so they can continue using the eG Enterprise monitoring solution uninterrupted. Upon the purchase of new licenses by the tenant, the administrator must override the default license allocation to that tenant to this effect. To achieve this, the administrator should use this page.

• By default, this page will display the license allocation of all Organizations and Organizational Units registered with the eG manager.

• Note that the allocations to the Default Organization cannot be changed. However, you can change the allocations of any other Organization / OU. For instance, to change the Total Monitors count and Basic Monitors count for an Organization, you can click the icon corresponding to that Organization.

• To reset the license allocations of an Organization / Organizational Unit, click the icon corresponding to that Organization / Organizational Unit.

• To reset the entire license allocation of the Organization / Organizational Unit in a single click, click the Reset All button in this page.

• To edit / view the license allocation of a user (in case of Enterprise deployment) or an Organization (in case of SaaS deployment), click the Default Settings button.

• In environments where multiple Oraganizations /Organizational Units are registered with the eG manager, searching for the Oraganization / Organizational Unit of your choice may require endless scrolling of the page. To avoid this, you can use the Search text box.
